The Khumai Danda is a off-the-beaten-path and less-crowded Himalayan hike in Annapurna region. Nepal's, offering stunning, Up-close views of Fishtail, Annapurna massive, and Mardi Himal from the sea level on 3,245m. It's a culturally rich and short, moderate trek (max 2-3 days from Pokhara) through Gurung villages near by fir & rhododendron forests, ideal for beginners or those seeking a short holidays trip to explore the authentic mountain escape.

It is short and sweet 3 days, less crowded trail compared to other area such as Khapuche Lake, Ghorepani Poonhill trek. making it a nice destination for someone wanting a tranquil Himalyas experience without long trails

The trekking trails goes to via rhododendron and oak forests. Speciaslly, walk through small Gurung inhabited communities. To reach ridgelines for views of massive peaks as Machhapuchhre, Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri and many more other huge peaks

It’s suitable for all trekkers such as family, student and sole FIT mountain lovers who are reasonably fit but may not want very high altitudes or long durations.

PROGRAM - DAY 01: DRIVE & TREK
Morning: Depart from Pokhara to Ghachowk (via Hemja) & Saripakha by vehicle. Trek to Hile Khaka or Chechemi. The walk is around 3-4 hours depending on your pace..
Transfer to Hari Chowk by local taxi and drive Saripakha via Ghachowk
Afternoon: Lunch on th way route either Sariphakha or Green Cottage Restairant Hile
Process continue trek towards the Chechimi Village
Evening: Overnight stay at Chechemli.

PROGRAM - DAY 02: Chechemli to Khumai Danda:
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, Trek begings towards the from Hile Kharka up through forest and ridge to Khumai Danda (≈3,245m) and possibly onward to Korchan (≈3,700m) for sweeping views. The terrain gets a little steeper and narrower, but manageable.
Spend time enjoying the viewpoint, photography, perhaps stay at a lodge near the ridge.

PROGRAM - DAY 03: KHUMAI DANDA TO KORCHAN HILL - GHACHOWK
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel.
Early morning hike to Korchan to catch the sunrise. Then descend via the ridge/trail back down to Ghachowk (or Saripakha) and from there drive back to Pokhara. Depending on pace this could take 4-6 hours of trekking plus drive.
Arrive in Ghachowk or contunue drive to Pokhara (Option), conclusion of the trek.
