Dhampus (1650m) is a very popular tourist destination for short duration. The snow capped white mountains, astounding views of sunrise, sunset as well as close view famous mountain Fishtail & of course rural lifestyle typical gurung community village near Pokhara. The main attraction of this village is Gurung community settlement and their culture to foreign tourist. & also can be seen perfect shot of the mountain, sunrise and sunset. There are about 50 different hotels and lodges at the service for tourist. Most of the tourist spend a night at the mesmerizing highland of Dhampus village and set off to Australian camp. There are ample facilities of accommodation at Dhampus is ideally suited for a short trip from Pokhara.

HOW TO GET THERE:
Normally, This hiking start from Pokhara for day trip to Dhampus village from Phedi which you can reach by car or bus (30 min). Steep climb from Phedi through the villages and forests will take you to Dhampus (Appro. 3 Hrs) where you will have great mountain views of the Annapurna Himalayan Range. After having lunch at Dhampus then continue to Australian Camp for our night halt, a picturesque village, the most photographed in the Pokhara valley. Nest Day, early morning we set our program for Sunrise & Mountain Views, Leaving Australian Camp you descend to down hill to Khade village and back to Pokhara by car or bus or continue walk towards the Sarangkot Height for night halt.
