Bardia National Park is the largest Park in low land area of Nepal in Tarai Region. Approx. 585 km south west of Kathmandu and covering its land around 968 sq km. Bardia National Park found 8 tpes of eco systems ranging in diversity from flood plains to dense forest. Its area about prime habitat for a wild variety of wildlife. The park is famous for to see the Royal Bengal Tiger, Wild Elephants and host of other rare and not so rare animals and birds. It is also the place in Nepal to see Freshwater Dolphins and black buck antilopes.

The Park is located at south west of Kathmandu, approx. 585 km away from Kathmandu. The nearest airport is Nepalgunj which operate regular flight between Kathmandu to Nepalgunj airport. It takes about 55 minutes journey. If you looking cheapest option then you can take a night bus service whigh run regular between Kathamandu and Nepalgunj and connect to local services which available frequently everyday.
