LANGTANG GOSAIKUND TREK

TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Gosaikund Lake is one of the important holy sites of Nepal. The alpine freshwater lake lies at an altitude of 4350 meters above sea level. Gosaikund is situated in Syabru VDC of Rasuwa in the Bagmati zone and carries natural and religious significants. It is an important religious conservation area in the Lantang Natioanl Park.

According to Hindu mythology, when the God churned the primordial ocean to produce elixir of eternal life, the poison was also produced. Lord Shiva drank the p;oison to save the unverse from poison. To obtain water to cool down his burnig throat, Lord Shiva struck his trident into the rock, and his deed ultimately resulred in the formation of beautiful lakes.

ARRIVAL KATHMANDU:
Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival / 1350m
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing: Boudhanath Stupa | Pasupatinath Temple | Swyambhunath & Patan Durbar.

TREKKING:
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Dhunche and Overnight at Lodge
Day 04: Commence 13 Days Treks (Details Itinerary can be obtain on request)
Day 16: End trek at Sundarijal and drive to Kathmandu

DEPARTURE:
Day 17: Free Day at Kathmandu
Day 18: Final Departure
