Annapurna Circuit Trek TENTATIVE PLAN:

Annapurna Circuit treks normally begins from Besishar (820m) approx. 172 km from the Kathmandu & takes it 5 hrs journey. We complete the traiils along with via Bahundanda, Chemje, Bagarchap, Cheme, Pisang, Manang, Tharang Pass & Muktinath then to Jomsom. (Half Circular). After Jomsom, either continue your treks down hill towards the Marpha, Kala pani, Tatopani, Ghorepani & to Pokhara or can fly from Jomsom to Pokhara. (Optional).

OUTLINE ITINERARY:
Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 02 - Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley

TREKKING - OUTLINE ITINERARY:
Day 03 - Drive to Besi Sahar [820m] Bahundanda: We walk through the deep river gorge, rice fields, subtropical forest and small hamlets, past a majestic waterfall with towering peaks of Himalchuli and Manaslu.stay at 1320m.

Day 04 - Bahundanda to Chamje A steep and slippery trail runs up and down through paddy fields, passing through tiny Tibetan villages, the trail ascends through the rhododendron forest to Chamje at 1440m height.

Day 05 - Chamje to Bagarchap The path climbs the river through bamboo groves, we cross barely and potato fields to reach Dharapani and work an hour to Bagarchhap (2160m) site of our first Tibetan Monastery and with the views of Annapurna 2 and Lamjung Himal.

Day 06 - Bagarchap to Chame The trail climbs along the mule track through in and fir forest and then follows the river for a time amongst the higher oak and maple trees. Stay at 2710m

Day 07 - Trek to Pisang [3190m] The trail follows through the river valley stay at pisang(3210m) with good views along the way of Pisang peak and Annapurna 2.

Day 08 - Trek to Manang [3520m] Walk through the fields of grazing Yak and a wide variety of crops. This large Tibetan settlement provides good views of Annapurna2, 3, 4, Gangapurna and Tarkekang. Stay at 3570m.

Day 09 - Rest day in Manang [3520m] This is a rest day to acclimatize to the higher altitude. Time to visit monasteries take advice from Himalayan Rescue Association and observe the spectacular views of the Himalaya .

Day 10 - Trek to Letdar [4250m] We move through alpine pastures to scrubby forests of juniper and rose. We stay at an elevation of 4250m.

Day 11 - Trek to Thorung Phedi [4500m] Walking near by the river, It is some time possible to see herds of blue mountain sheep stay overnight at Phedi 4400m.

Day 12 - Trek to Muktinath [3800m] Arrive Muktinath, We ascend steeply to high camp at 4590m then along an undulating trail to the flat top of throngla( 5416m) from here the trail descend steeply down to Muktinath. This is one of the most important pilgrimage sights for Hindus. It is also home to many ethnics Tibetans and holy Buddhists stay at 3800m

Day 13 - Trek to Marpha via Jomsom [2665m] Gradually through field and popular groves, then in to Kaligandaki valley. Visiting a old Buddhist Monastery. Stay at Kagbeni or Jomsom. Its up to your decission.

Day 14 - Trek to Lete or Ghasa Descend to Marpha a lovely village of white washed house and fertile fields as the trail continues, The Himalayan rain shadow end and open spaces make way for conifers forest.

Day 15 - Trek to Tatopani [1160m] Trek

Day 16 - Trek to Ghorepani [2775m] Trek

END TREKKING:
Day 17 - Trek to Hile & drive to Pokhara
Day 18 - Flight or Drive to Kathmandu
Day 19 - Depart Kathmandu
