Day 01 KATHMANDU-KERUNG
Early in the morning scenic drive to Kerung Border (Nepal-Tibet Border) through the beautiful Nepalese countryside and after necessary border formalities at Nepalese immigration, an hour adventurous uphill drive by Bus & Van (normally) or 2 hour walks uphill (in case of landslide to Chinese immigration, check-in to hotel or Continue drive to Kerung. Stay overnight at Guest House.
Day 02 KERUNG TO TINGRI OR LHATSE
Day drive uphill to the highest plateau of the world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape offering sheer feeling of standing on the roof of the world. from where, weather permitting, breathtaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges including Mt Cho Oyu (8201 M) & Mt Xishapagma (8012M) but dwarfed by the Vastness of the Tibetan plateau. From TINGRI, one can enjoy the magnificence of Mt. Everest (8,848 M). Stay overnight at Guest House
Day 03 TINGRI-XIGATSE
Our journey today takes us to the highest pass on the tour at Gyatshola Pass, 5,220m. Further, the drive descends to Lhatse town situated on the route to Mt. Kailash and continue towards Shigatse; the second largest city in Tibet honored by famous Tashilumpo Monastery; the seat of Panchen Lama.
Day 04 XIGATSE-GYANSE (3950m)-90Kms.
After visiting TASHILAUMPO MONASTRY in the morning including the Bazaar of XIGATSE , drive to GYANTSE which is 02 hrs Gyantse is small bustling town steeped in history. It is lies 264 Kms Southwest of Lhasa on the northern bank of NYANG CHU River. In the 15th Century it served as the Capital of a small Kingdom. Visit KUMBUM CHORTEN & PHKLKOR MONASTERY which was built around 1400 AD It later became the main centre for trade with British India. Overnight in hotel.
Day 05 GYANTSE-LHASA (3650m)-260 Kms
2 hrs drive takes you to Lhasa crossing the KAROLA PASS (5236m) while driving you will see the YAMDROK TSO (Truquoise Lake) which takes approx. 1 hour to cross around. After passing KAMBALA, Lhasa Balley is seen to the north. You will also cross the Brahmaputra River.Reaching Lhasa and check in hotel. The accompanied guide will reconfirm your onwards airline ticket. Overnight in hotel.
Day 06 IN LHASA (3800M)
In Lhasa sightseeing tour to Sera Monastery, Jorkhang temple and Bharkor Bazar. Tour to Sera Monastery, one of the most important and old monastery of Tibet as well a school for Tibetan Buddhism. Visit to Jorkhang Temple is another interesting place as it boasts a lot of historic importance and tales of old days. Conclude the day tour by visiting Bharkor Bazaar.
Day 07 IN LHASA (3800M)
Sightseeing tour to Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery. Tour of Potala Palace originally built during 640 AD. The 13 storied palaces stand 117.19m high with 1000 rooms, visit to Drepung monastery, and the largest of all monasteries in Tibet.
Day 08 LHASA-KATHMANDU
Transfer to airport 02-hrs drive Representative will assist you. Departure of flight for KATHMANDU would be approx. 01.00hrs ten minute.
