The Major
Highlights of the Tour
SWAYAMBHUNATH
Located approximately 4 km (2.5 miles), Buddhist Stupa this
is said to be 2000 years old. The Stupa which forms the main
structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of bricks and earth
supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper
gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire are the all
seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. This hill is a mosaic of small
Chaityas and Pagoda temples.
BOUDHANATH
This Stupa situated 11km/7 miles from Kathmandu City is one
of the biggest in the world of its kind. It stands with four
pairs of eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping watch for
righteous behavior and human prosperity. This Buddhist Stupa was
built by King Man Deva at the advice of the goddess Mani Jogini.
It is built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels. The
shrine is surrounded by houses of Lamas or Buddhist priests.
PASHUPATINATH
Situated 5 kilometers east of Kathmandu city, Pashupatinath
temple is one of the holiest Hindu temple dedicated to Lord
Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank
of the sacred Bagmati River, the temple built in pagoda style
has gilded roof and richly carved silver doors. Visitors will be
permitted to view the temple from the east bank of river Bagmati,
entrance in the temple being strictly forbidden to all non
Hindus. Pashupatinath is the center of annual pilgrimage on the
day of Shivaratri which falls in the month of February/March.
Behind the temples are the cremation grounds.
PATAN
5 kms/3 miles away from Kathmandu City. Patan also known as
Lalitpur is the city of fine arts, enclosed within 4 stupas said
to be built in 3rd century AD, by Emperor Ashoka. You will see
the Durbar square; the Krishna Temple built by Kind Siddhi
Narsingh Malla, Hiranya Varna Mabavihar and MahadouddhaTemple.
BHAKTAPUR
Bhaktapur is also known as “the city of Devotees”. It is
located at a distance of 14 km east of the capital. The ancient
city covers an area of four squares miles, which still retains
the medieval charms and treats its visitors with many wonders of
historical, cultural and artistic achievements. The historic
city was the capital of Kathmandu Valley between the 14th and
16th centuries. Much of the town’s great architectures dates
from the end of the 17th century during the rule of King
Bhupatindra Malla before the valley were divided into three
smaller kingdoms (Bhaktapur, Patan and Kathmandu)

DAY 02: KATHMANDU/PATAN
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Sight-Seeing of Swoyambhunath, Pashupatinath & Boudhanath
Lunch at the hotel
Sight-Seeing of Patan Durbar Square
Dinner at the Hotel.
DAY 03: KATHMANDU/BHAKTAPUR/NAGARKOT
Breakfast at the hotel
Sight-Seeing of Bhaktapur
Transfer to Nagarkot
Lunch at the hotel
Relax & free time at Nagarkot

DAY 04: NAGARKOT – KATHMANDU
Get up at early morning to view the Sunrise.

Drive to Kathmandu on the way hike to Changu Narayan

Rest of the day free for your own leisure.

DAY 05: KATHMANDU – CHITWAN
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Drive to Chitwan.
Check-in at the Resort.
Lunch and Dinner at the Resort in the National Park.
DAY 06: CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast at Resort Jungle Activities.
Lunch at the Resort.
Jungle Activities.
Dinner at Resort.
Full day wildlife activities such as Elephant ride, Jungle
safari, Nature walk, canoeing etc. |

DAY 07: CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK – POKHARA
Breakfast at Resort.
Drive to POKHARA.
Lunch on the way
Arrive in POKHARA and Check-in at the hotel.
Dinner at the hotel.
DAY 08: POKHARA CITY TOUR
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Half-day sight-seeing of Pokhara City (Seti Gorge, Davis
Fall & Mahadev Cave)
Return back to the hotel, refresh and have lunch at the
Hotel.
Go the lakeside and enjoy an hour of boating at the
fantastic Phewa Lake of with Fishtail Mountain on the
background.
Walk around the touristy area of Lakeside.
Dinner at the Hotel.
DAY 9: POKHARA – KATHMANDU
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Drive back to Kathmandu
Lunch at the hotel
After lunch free & relax.
Dinner at the Hotel.
DAY 10: FREE DAY IN KATHMANDU
Breakfast at the Hotel.
All day free on your own.
Culture Program with fare well dinner with our staffs.
Overnight at hotel
DAY 11: DEPARTURE

Departure for the Airport.
